Biospecimen Shipping and Handling
Ensuring specimen viability during transit is a top priority. All shipments comply with International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and are handled under conditions that preserve sample integrity.
FROZEN BIOSPECIMENS
Biospecimens are stored at ultra-low temperatures and shipped on dry ice or in batches, depending on the investigator preference.
FRESH BIOSPECIMENS
Collected, processed and shipped on the same day under temperature-controlled conditions (refrigerated or ambient) for next-day delivery.
FFPE BIOSPECIMENS
Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples are shipped at ambient temperatures or on ice packs if requested.
SPECIALIZED SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS
Biospecimens can be coordinated upon request to accommodate time-sensitive research needs. Weekend deliveries are considered specialized.
